About Us

We are located in the beautiful rolling hills of Holmes County, Ohio, surrounded by meticulously kept Amish farmsteads. Holmes County, Ohio is home to the largest Amish settlement in the world!  There are no interstate freeways in the county and we feel fortunate to raise our family away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Roadside stands, produce markets, livestock auctions and little home businesses offering homemade goods dot the countryside.  Fields are worked by teams of horses and horse-drawn buggies are the means of transportation for the many Amish families living in the area.

Being raised in an Amish home, I love and value the Amish culture, where honesty, integrity, hard work, and self-discipline are taught.  I am able to fluently speak the Pennsylvania Dutch Dialect, which is valuable when working with our Amish Craftsmen.  I joined a more liberal Mennonite church at the age of 19.  Today my wife and I are members of a local Mennonite church.

Being Mennonite allows us the freedom of modern conveniences like electricity, internet, phone service, and vehicles, of which our Amish friends have chosen to live life without.  They prefer living life in a plain and simple manner without the modern conveniences and comforts many of us believe we could not survive without.

Because of our Respect for the Amish craftsman's, quality workmanship, integrity, and work ethics, we hope to use our ability to promote and make   their products available  in ways they themselves are restricted from doing.  Though locally there are many Amish furniture shops and places to purchase handmade quilts, baked goods, and etc, many individuals are not able to travel to this area to shop locally.    We desire this website to provide an access for quality goods to individuals who otherwise may not have access to this type of furniture and products  in the location they live.
